SHUTTLE RUNNING

Shuttle Running, being a fun and simple activity, children of class VII enjoyed doing this activity as it helped develop their acceleration, speed and anaerobic fitness. Children of Himalaya International School enthusiastically participated in this activity. They placed markers at both ends of an imagery pitch having starting point and ending point.. They used their colourful pens, pebbles, ruler, water bottles, balls, etc. as markers. They started running from the starting point and touched the ending point and ran back again to the starting point. It was quite an enjoyable activity for them.
