FIT INDIA MOVEMENT - YOGA (DAY-2)

VIRTUAL ASSEMBLY- COMMON YOGA PROTOCOLS

Yoga is the essence of a healthy life, beaming with boundless energy and fiddle-like fitness. It helps not only in calming the mind but also energise every cell of the body. Considering this fact, Himalaya International School conducted a virtual assembly for classes 3rd to 8th on common yoga protocols. The students of each and every class performed some basic yogas at their home under the guidance of their teachers, provided through online session. Students did Tadasana, Dhanurasana, Pawanmuktasana, Naukasana, Parvatasana, etc. to enhance their physical fitness. The children also talked about the benefits of these asanas in their lives. They also had discussion with their teachers about Dos and Don'ts of practices of yoga in our daily life.They also vowed to inculcate the habit of doing yoga for half an hour everyday, "Yoga apnaayo, rogbhagaayo" being the motto.
